Slide 19: Away from the shores but still within the Great Basin can be found
other fascinating sites that are the result of the complex ecological and geologic
history of the basin. Seen here are sand dunes collected near Delta, Utah--they
are lacustrine (lake) deposits that were blown by the wind into dunes after the retreat
