Slide 20: The outflow point where the Rugezi swamp has cut through a barrier to then cascade down a major knickpoint to the lower region around Lake Bulera and Ruhondo. Note the clear water coming from areas where natural papyrus swamps still clean and absorb sediments as compared to the silt-ladden water emanating from areas opened up for agriculture.
