With the shriking demand for auditors, what types of changes has KPMG gone through?

Probably the biggest change we are going through is realigning into lines of business. Instead of being segmented along tax, audit, and consulting to service multiple industries, we now have it where Manufacturing, Retailing & Distribution  would be one division where you have all three services while Financial Services would be another division with its own specialists, and so on and so forth. You really have to become more specialized and develop industry specific knowledge in a particular area. That way we can help our clients because we can take knowledge learned from one project and possibly apply it to another client who might be in a similar situation.
