The "Big Five" and Other Firms |
Professional service organizations are becoming increasingly globalized and concentrated. In accounting, we're down to the "Big Five" public accounting firms. Note: Coopers and Lybrand and Price Waterhouse have merged. The Accounting Workshop will provide an analysis of the merger soon. All have great web sites that deserve your exploration:

- Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International
- Ernst & Young and their Ask Ernie service.
- KPMG
- Price Waterhouse
