  • Applet 6. Normal Distribution Calculator
This applet computes probabilities for a general normal distribution. The applet also shows a graph of a normal curve with the region shaded. Intervals may be entered in a table or by dragging vertical guides across the graph.

  • Applet 7. Demonstration of Central Limit Tendency
The user inputs a frequency distribution for the outcomes of a series of independent identically distributed trials. The applet performs repeated runs of these trials and records the average score on each run in the columns of a histogram. As the size of the sample increases, the histogram evolves to resemble the normal distribution.

  • Applet 8. Statistics Calculator and Demonstration of Simple Data Statistics
The user enters data points, which are shown on a number line along with the mean, the median, and standard deviation. The mean, median, and range will be marked as labeled points on the line. The standard deviation will be shown as an interval extending on either side of the mean. The user can also enter a frequency table and read off values for the mean and standard deviation.
