Welcome to the Panoramas culturales web site! On this web site, you will find a wealth of activities and information on the 21 Spanish-speaking countries of the world. This web page presents a collection of maps, interesting cultural facts, historical highlights, and visually-based information, all designed for interaction and expansion of cross-cultural awareness. The goal of this website is to extend what you have learned in the cultural sections of your text book. The site gathers useful information written by Spanish native speakers into one site organized by country. It gives you the opportunity to surf and experience things that are of interest and it provides ten activities per country. The student may submit their answers for these activities either by email or hard copy. Using the menu at left, you can directly access the country of your choice. A link will take you to the country's home page in Panoramas culturales, where you will be able to select among the topics such as Sports & Leisure (Deportes y ocio), Arts & Culture (Arte y cultura), Economy (Finanzas), and many others.
