THE AUTHOR AND THE STORY

Denis Collins is a tenured professor of management in the School of Business at Edgewood College and has been teaching business ethics in undergraduate and graduate programs for more than 20 years. He received a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and is considered a leader among business ethics professors. He has published numerous books and articles. Dr. Collins currently serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals and has served on the board of governance for several professional organizations.

Dr. Collins is the recipient of the 2010 MBA Outstanding Faculty Award and the 2009 Estervig–Beaubien Outstanding Professor Award, School of Business, Edgewood College, for excellence in teaching and mentoring. Three times he was voted the outstanding MBA faculty member at the University of Wisconsin—Madison in Business Week’ survey of alumni. Dr. Collins was a finalist for the Academy of Management’s Distinguished Educator Award.
