• Data Set Files Includes all data sets containing more than 10 points for every chapter (including Chapters 13 and 14 available only on the web site). All files are in tab-separated text format and have ".txt" extensions. This format is easily read by all major statistical packages and spreadsheets using "Open" under the "File" menu.
  
  
• Chapter 13 PDF format. This chapter discusses a set of methods for monitoring process characteristics over time called control charts and places these tools in the wider perspective of quality improvements.
  
  
• Chapter 14 PDF format. This chapter deals more generally with changes in a variable over time.
