Tony Priore, Vice President of Marketing for yesmail.com, the permission email network, has 18 years of experience in virtually all forms of marketing, from direct/database marketing, Internet marketing and electronic commerce to consumer services and packaged goods marketing. Priore joined yesmail.com from the Chicago Creative Partnership, a privately held full-service advertising agency with annual billings in excess of $80 million. As Executive Vice President and Managing Director, he directed all agency operations and had overall responsibility for client P&Ls including those of Bob Evans (restaurant and food divisions), Stiffel, Hickory Specialties and Central DuPage Health System. As Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Peapod, Inc., Priore directed all sales and marketing efforts to build consumer and commercial membership, order frequency and order size. During his three-year tenure, Priore more than doubled membership, sales and orders each year while expanding Peapod’s coverage from two to eight cities. While building and staffing the company’s first marketing department, Priore established Peapod’s brand identity, which became a platform for all marketing communications. Before joining Peapod, Priore served as Vice President and Account Director for Leo Burnett Company. During his four years at the advertising agency’s Chicago office, he provided direct marketing leadership on a broad range of accounts including Ameritech, McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Nintendo, Sealy and Samsonite. As Director of Advertising and Cardmember Communications for Citicorp Diners Club, Priore directed all advertising, direct marketing and promotions. He began his career at the Chicago office of DDB Needham Worldwide, where he led marketing efforts on behalf of such clients as Kraft, SC Johnson, The Dial Corporation, Hasbro/Milton Bradley and Discover Card Services. Priore holds both masters and bachelors degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
