Construction Project Management
Fourth Edition

Richard H. Clough, Glenn A. Sears, S. Keoki Sears

CASE STUDIES

A good case study provides students with a real life problem-solving environment. Lots of information is provided, some relevant and some extraneous. A situation is described, data provided and a problem posed. It is up to the student to understand the situation, check the data, analyze the problem and take steps to correct the situation.

Appendix G of Construction Project Management, Fourth Edition provides four case studies based on the bridge project. The authors invite users of this book to write and submit their own case studies. The cases can be based on the bridge project, the pipeline project or on other projects relating to planning and scheduling of construction work.

Case study files should be sent to cpm@wiley.com. After review and editing for consistent style, they will be placed in this section of the Web site and made available for downloading. Proper credit will be given to each case author.

No case studies have been submitted and approved at this time.
