    About the Editor

    Robert R. Stickney, Director of the Texas Sea Grant College Program, based at Texas A&M University, is one of the world's leading authorities in aquaculture. Dr. Stickney has served as President of the World Aquaculture Society and president of the Fish Culture Section and Education Section of the American Fisheries Society. He has also authored several highly acclaimed works including Principles of Warmwater Aquaculture, Principles of Aquaculture, and Aquaculture in the United States: A Historical Survey.
