Paul von Ragué Schleyer, Lou Allinger and Fritz Schaefer were among a number of researchers who initiated the area of Computational Chemistry in 1970 and are widely recognised as the leading authorities in the field. Together with the other members of the editorial board they form an unsurpassed international team and have put an indelible stamp of quality on this innovative reference work. Their collaborative efforts in the managment of entries from over 350 contributors have seen this vast project through to publication and have created a landmark reference work in the field.
