The Wiley Reference Series in Biostatistics has been designed for those users primarily interested in one specific area of the broad discipline of biostatistics.
The Series will take advantage of the format and material used in the Encyclopedia of Biostatistics, by presenting the information in separate articles, arranged alphabetically and with numerous references to the current literature.

Existing articles will be updated and revised as appropriate and newly commissioned articles added ensuring that the content is both current and comprehensive.

The Encyclopedia of Epidemiologic Methods will be the first volume to be published in this major new series and will be followed by Biostatistics in Clinical Trials in March 2001.
