Wiley Announces the 10th edition of the Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data

April, 2013. Hoboken, NJ – John Wiley & Sons, Inc. announces the publication of the 10th edition of the Wiley Registry® of Mass Spectral Data. The Tenth Edition of the Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data offers the largest mass spectral library ever commercially available, with over 719,000 spectra and over 684,000 searchable chemical structures. Containing over 638,000 compounds, the Wiley Registry is a must-have for any analytical laboratory. Applications include pathology, toxicology, forensics, quality assurance, border control, research and development, commercial deformulation, food safety, food quality, environmental science, and identifying an unknown compound or confirming a known compound.

The new edition has expanded coverage by 48,000 new compounds, with 9% new spectra and an expansion of 22% additional searchable structures. The extensive coverage of topics includes pharmaceuticals, illegal drugs, poisons, pesticides, steroids, natural products, metabolites, chemical warfare agents and environmental pollutants. The Wiley Registry enables confident identification and confirmation of composition and chemical structure.

The Wiley Registry is routinely used by governments and international bodies for border protection, law enforcement, environmental, agricultural, food, and pharmaceutical surveillance and compliance.
