About the Author
Lee T. Ostrom, PhD, has worked in the fields of risk assessment, industrial safety, ergonomics, and human factors for over thirty-five years. A Certified Professional Ergonomist and Certified Safety Professional, he has been an Associate Dean and Academic Director and Full Professor University of Idaho, Idaho Falls. He has authored or co-authored two other books on ergonomic and risk topics and has authored over 75 papers and conference proceedings.
Cheryl A. Wilhelmsen, PhD, is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Idaho, Idaho Falls. She has been the director of the Industrial Technology BS, and Technology Management degree programs. She has also taught for APUS/AMU and consulted with NASA Ames in the area of aviation inspection. In her thirty-year career, she has conducted hundreds of ergonomic assessments and risk assessments from offices to nuclear hot cells. She has co-authored one other book on ergonomic and risk topics.
