Workshop Statistics is the college-level and AP Statistics series that puts students in the center of active learning. Unlike the traditional statistics textbook approach, the "workshop" pedagogy is based on active student participation. It emphasizes collaborative learning; integrates technology to gather, record, and synthesize data; and requires student observation. Workshop Statistics requires students to explore principles, apply techniques, and discover statistical concepts.
This version of the text allows the instructor the most flexibility in selecting the technology tools for use in the classroom. While it presumes the use of some statistical technology, this version does not specify any particular technology to calculate or impute outcomes.
