World Health Day 2019 Collection

World Health Day 2019 Collection

Universal health coverage is the World Health Organization’s (WHO) number one goal and that’s why this year’s World Health Day is focused on universal health coverage.

At least half of the people in the world do not receive the health services they need. About 100 million people are pushed into extreme poverty each year because of out-of-pocket spending on health. WHO considers quality, accessible primary health care as the foundation for universal health coverage. Read WHO’s calls to action here.

In support of World Health Day, we have curated this research collection for you to read and download during 2019. We hope this collection is a valuable endorsement of the need to ensure that everyone can obtain the care they need, when they need it, right in the heart of the community.
