Journalists

________

“Global warming is a myth.”

“Eating blueberries and walnuts may help reduce risk of dementia.”

These are just a couple of headlines that bombard consumers in print, on TV and online. How can readers be sure that the information they read or hear is accurate? They must rely on news outlets to provide honest, trustworthy information. But, what if the journalist is using questionable sources or doesn’t fully understand the scientific data?

Science Talks Webinars

Wiley, in partnership with the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ), is pleased to host a series of webinars for journalists called Science Talks. These complimentary sessions connect journalists with leading researchers and subject matter experts to provide knowledge and training on the latest scientific discoveries covered in the news.

Wiley is committed to supporting science and bridging the communications gap between research, the media and the general public. Visit The Wiley Network to learn more about topics like this: “Fighting Fake News with Research Evidence.“
