The Nutrition Society is a not for-profit-organisation, and one of the largest learned societies in the world dedicated to advancing nutritional science. The Society disseminates nutritional science research through five peer reviewed journals, academic textbooks, a series of scientific conferences, training workshops, presenting awards for excellence in the field of nutrition research, and offering grants to support members. Membership is open to anyone across the world with an interest in the science of human or animal nutrition.
