9 Productivity Mistakes You’re Making in the First 10 Minutes of Your Workday

What do you do during the first ten minutes of your workday? Do you grab a cup of joe? You might want to rethink that habit. Got a lot on your mind as you fire up the computer? What if you took a moment to drain your brain of some of the stuff that’s knocking around your noggin? According to studies at Harvard and Columbia Universities, starting your day with your seat in a chair is not the best way to jump-start your productivity. In fact, along with drinking coffee, coming into work with too much on your mind, and scrolling through your email, sitting down is one of nine productivity mistakes you can make in the first ten minutes of your day.
