Yes, it’s that time of year again – we’re celebrating all things open access as part of Open Access Week 2018!
This year marks the 11th International Open Access Week, and the theme is “Designing Equitable Foundations for Open Knowledge.” The theme, which is chosen by the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), is an invitation to discuss how we can make scholarship more equitable and inclusive as we move towards newer, more open systems.
Open Access Week 2018 runs from October 22 to 28. Be sure to check in with us throughout the week – here’s what to look out for:
- Daily blog posts on The Wiley Network.
- Twitter coverage on @WileyOpen and @WileyResearcher, and Facebook coverage on the Wiley Open Research page.
- A dedicated Open Access Week 2018 webpage full of helpful links and resources.
We’d like everyone to have the opportunity to join in the conversation around open access – after all, inclusion is central to this year’s theme! You can read our daily blog posts and share your thoughts and experience in the comments section, visit our OA Week page for helpful resources, and engage with the activity on social media – we’ll be using the official Open Access Week hashtag, #OAWeek.
